| "Caribbean Night" featured an evening of good food and company for members of the FCDA. Highlights of the evening were a salsa demonstration, a limbo contest, a special doorprize raffle race, our regular raffle to sponsor our DAN sponsorship and a special raffle of a hotel/dive package donated by the Bahamas Board of Tourism. |

WOMEN DIVERS HALL OF FAME
The first honor society of its kind, Women Divers Hall of Fame was established to recognize women divers who have contributed significantly to the exploration, understanding, safety and enjoyment of our underwater world.These contributions span a wide variety of fields. Including: the Arts, Sciences, Medicine, Sports, Exploration, Archeology, Media, Safety, Education, Service, Business, Environment and Conservation.
This elite group of honorees includes the most notable women leaders and innovators of the 20th century. It is the goal of the WDHOF to honor these women and raise awareness of the contributions they have made Kathy Weydig has been a NAUI instructor and Course Director for 15 years, she holds a USCG Captain's license and is as an EMT/DMT She has held positions as Training Director - City Island Hyperbaric Chamber, Chairman - NAUI Elections Committee and North. Atlantic Branch Manager - NAUI. Kathy has over 2,500 dives which include the "USS Monitor", "USS Wilkes Barre" and "Andrea Doria". She serves on the NAUI Technical Diving Advisory Board and is President of Scuba Training + Travel Co. |
